Cockatoo Beach at the southern end of North Molle Island features a number of large campsites around the forest edge. There is a small water tank here providing seasonal water supplies. |

Denman Island ::: Shared Camping AU $ 190

|
Just off South Molle Island to the south east is tiny Denman Island. This is one of the few, true 'Robinson Curusoe' camp sites left in the world. With very few visiting vessles and a maximum of 6 persons at anyone time, this is truly a unique experience. |

Planton Island, line Denman Island also offers that unique deserted island experience that is only possible in a few places left in the world today. Just off shore from South Molle Island, Planton Island camp site is located just a few meters from the beach in a dry rainforest area. |

Sandy Bay ::: Shared Camping AU $ 190
|
|
You'll find Sandy Bay on the western side of South Molle Island. This is a great campsite for bushwalkers with 15km of graded walking tracks passing through grasslands, open forests and rainforests to lookouts with spectacular views. |

Dugong Beach ::: Shared Camping AU $ 238
|
|
Dugong Beach campground is popular with local residents as it is suited to large groups. The campground is located in a dry rainforest setting and is well shaded from sunlight. There is an enjoyable dry rainforest walk connecting Dugong Beach campground to Sawmill Beach campground, which displays the visual attributes and ecology of such as system. Please keep to the main walking track and do not create or follow informal walking trails. There is no track to Whitsunday Peak.

Joes Beach ::: Shared Camping AU $ 238

Joe's Beach provides a secluded campsite and beach area with outstanding views of Cid Island and the Molle Islands. The fringing reef provides good snorkelling, and is exposed during low tide.

Naris Beach ::: Shared Camping AU $ 238
|
|
This site has outstanding views of Cid Island and the sourrounding Cid Harbour. Set under the rainforest canopy, tucked against a steep hill, this tiny camp site and beach is passed often by yachts coming and going from Cid Harbour, but is very rarely visited. A reef line is close to shore with good access at mid-tide and plenty of anchorage.

Sawmill Beach ::: Shared Camping AU $ 238
|
|
Until about 1901 the sawmill on this site was used to cut hoop pines obtained from the surrounding hills. It is a pleasant camping area, divided by a seasonal creek. A short track passes through a palm thicket and follows the creek for 200m to the water tank. Dugong Beach is reached via a meandering track through coastal rainforest. The anchorage is very popular and smaller boats can be beached.

Crayfish Bay is located on the Eastern shores of Hook Island and offers outstanding snorkelling in a remote destination. |

Maureens Cove ::: Shared Camping AU $ 280
|
|
Maureens Cove at the top (or North) side of Hook Island is probably one of the Whitsundays best snorkelling and diving sites. Perfectly sheltered from the south east winds, it offers outstanding corals, prolific fish life and often crystal clear visibility. |
