Cid Harbour is a large natural harbour , surrounded by lofty peaks on many sides and providing protection for vessels in everything except northerly winds. The Harbour is visited regularly by vessels of all shapes and sizes, from small sea going kayaks to large passenger liners.
Whitsunday Island which forms most of the harbour edges is completely development free. You'll find the area teeming with wildlife from wallabies to the local friendly and inquisative Goanna's.
These campsites are sheletered from the prevailing winds, and offer protection for the camp sites even in heavy weather. They a quite, calm and very, very peaceful.
